With plenty of guidance from artist and printmaker, ‘Sherry Rea’, we will explore monoprint using a printmaking press. We will create prints from textured surfaces and found objects such as plant materials or feathers and also use layering and paper masks to artistic effect.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some printmaking experience. There will be plenty of inspiration and resources available the workshop. The art that you create to take home could be abstract or illustrative, funky or traditional, and expressive or graphic!  Artist’s quality inks/papers included. No drawing skills necessary as we can use simple shapes/ stencils.

Sherry is an experienced printmaker and Tutor.

Light refreshments will be available throughout the workshop and there will be a short break for lunch so please bring a packed lunch with you.
